Scope and Contents This is a carbon typescript (8 pages) with editing notes, later published in V. 26, "The Johns Hopkins Alumni Magazine" as "Bombs and Bayonets in Wuhu." The typescript is in the form of a letter, dated January 14, 1938. It describes aerial attacks and subsequent invasion of Wuhu, China by the Japanese army in December 1937.
