Oceanography Building (Macaulay Hall), 1964 - 1967
Scope and Contents note
The third series contains records reflecting the Office's administrative duties, dating from 1947 to 1985. As a liaison between research faculty and the U.S. Government, the Director of Sponsored Projects is responsible for making sure that all government regulations are met, without distracting the researchers from their work. While the series is composed primarily of correspondence and memoranda, there are also surveys conducted by various institutions regarding sponsored research. In addition, there are some records pertaining to Macaulay Hall and the Carlyle Barton Laboratory.
