Friends of the Library, 1931-1992
Scope and Contents
Subgroup 2, Friends of the Library, 1931-1992, is divided into three series. Series 1, Ex Libris, 1931-1992, contains the newsletter of the Friends of the Library. Ex Libris addresses issues which concern Friends of the Library, namely, fundraising and collection development, and is aimed at informing the Friends of the events going on in the University as a whole. Series 2, Membership Records, 1931-1958, contains statements of dues assessments and receipts, as well as membership lists and statistics. Series 3, Subject Files, 1931-1988, contains the minutes of meetings, general correspondence and membership information, as well as descriptions or publicity announcements for various functions and fund raisers.
