Scope and Contents
The fifth series consists of correspondence pertaining to University and Professional matters, dating from 1967 and 1968. Also included are documents, articles and reports that Hamburger assembled during the "Secret Research Controversy," a debate over whether the University, and the Barton Laboratory in particular, should perform classified research for the military.
