Scope and Contents
The bulk of the collection concerns Ballentine's research and teaching, with numerous recordings and copious notes planning his lectures, which are located in Series 2. There are also several lab notebooks regarding his research, which are located in Series 3. A limited amount of slides are also available in Series 5. There is also material concerning his work with orchid cultivation and judging, as well as his work with the Baltimore Minerological Society, which is located in Series 6.
