February 1964 "Interstate Conference on Pollution of the Colorado River."
Scope and Contents note
Dr. Geyer was appointed to the President's Science Advisory Committee Panel on the Colorado River in 1964. The panel was called to study the matter of pollution of the interstate waters of the Colorado River and its tributaries. In Series 2 are reports and published proceedings (1960-1965) resulting from the committee's investigations. These published reports containing background information were most likely useful to Dr. Geyer's when he chaired a sub-panel on salinity studies in the Colorado River, 1964-1965. Several folders in the Series contain Dr. Geyer's notes, schedules, summaries, and correspondence describing the work of the Sub-Panel on Salinity Studies.
