A black and white cabinet photograph mounted on white backing which is stamped "Richard Walzl. Electro Portrait. Art Building. Eutaw and Franklin Sts., Baltimore." The portrait is of an infant wearing a baptism gown, taken in approximately 1890.

Biographical / Historical
There is currently no biographical information available about the child in the photograph. The photograph was taken by Richard Walzl, a Baltimore photographer who operated studios on Baltimore Street between the 1860s and 1890s. Walzl was a photographer and publisher of ambrotypes, cabinet cards, stereo cards, and cartes des visites, as well as a dealer of photographic supplies.
