A legal document dated October 14, 1854 which states that Amos Cramer, by his attorneys WM. P. Maulsby and J.I. Nelson, sued Robert H. MacGill of Frederick County, Maryland because MacGill made false claims about the health of an enslaved person he sold to Cramer.
