Reverend James Timothy Boddie
Boddie, a close friend of Rev. Martin Luther King, Sr., was the pastor of the New Shiloh Baptist Church in Baltimore, where he arranged for his friend's son, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to preach in 1953. Boddie was also the president of the Maryland Baptist Convention.
