Scope and Contents
Series 8, Space Telescope Science Institute Working Files, 1958-1991, is arranged alphabetically by subject. These files were created by the Space Telescope Science Institute and the majority of them are from the 1980s. The few early files included were kept for reference purposes. The records in this series include correspondence between the Space Telescope Science Institute, NASA and the contractors working on the telescope, as well as newsletters, reports, project reviews, plans ans published brochures and booklets.
