Scope and Contents
Series 7, Space Telescope History Project Resource Files, 1952-1989, is arranged alphabetically by author or subject. These records deal with a wide range of subjects, including the history of telescope use in astronomy and the need for an orbiting telescope. The files consist of copies of published articles and some correspondence written by scientists, astronomers, physicists, and research groups. Large files on M. Aucremaune, R.C. Bless, Garvin Emanual, J.D. Rosendhal, and Lyman Spitzer, Jr. contain correspondence and reports, while most of the other files contain published articles and reports.
