Scope and Contents
Series 2, Subcommittee Records, comprises the records of all of the subcommittees appointed by the Long Range Planning Committee. Included are minutes and supporting papers of subcommittee meetings and related correspondence. Of particular interest are the records of the Undergraduate and Graduate subcommittees, which address such issues as the admission of women as undergraduates and the role of undergraduate and graduate studies in the University. The series dates from 1952 to 1967, but is concentrated in the period 1964 to 1965.
