This series, Departmental Correspondence, consists of correspondence between the various departments in the School of Arts and Sciences and the Office of the Dean. These records are arranged alphabetically by department, with the exception of the Center for the Social Organization of Schools (CSOS), which follows the last academic department. The records are those of Deans Cox, Evans, Kimball, Benton, Owen and Suskind and cover the period from 1957 to 1982.
