Freshmen Seminars, 1964-1965
Scope and Contents
Series 6, Educational Programs, dating from 1961 to 1971, relates to educational programs undertaken by Phi Beta Kappa. The Hopkins chapter participated in the Visiting Scholars program, run by United Chapters. The Freshman Seminars (1964 1965), Dialogues (1970) and the Phi Beta Kappa Lectures (1971), however, were undertaken solely by the Hopkins chapter. The records include correspondence with speakers and with other officers and members concerning getting the program underway.
