Rockefeller Foundation Grants, 1957-1964
Scope and Contents note
Subgroup 1, Series 5, Grant-Funded Projects, 1957-1974, contains applications to foundations and government agencies for general need and specific-need grants. The majority of the files relate to the Rockefeller and Ford Foundations. There is only one finished work in these files: The Balance of Power in the Asian-Pacific Area, published in 1980 as the result of a grant-funded project. These records are organized alphabetically by the name of the foundation or agency to which the grant was proposed. At the end of this series are four proposals organized by topic, because it is not known to whom the request for funds was directed.
